ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK DAY TRIP

Arusha National Park is situated only 37 km from Arusha town with an area of 137sq.km. The Ngurdoto crater, Mount Meru (4575 m above sea level), Momela lakes and the montane forest are the icon of this beautiful National park in Tanzania.

The most common animals expected to be seen and found in this park during the game are the white and black colobus monkeys, the red forest duikers, the Vervet monkeys, hippos, elephant, giraffe, buffaloes and bushbucks. For birdwatchers, more than 400 species of birds have been recorded in the park including trogon, turaco and flamingo just few to mention. Mt. Kilimanjaro, towering at 5895 m to the east, can be visible on clear days from many locations in the park. Itinerary Tour will begin at your hotel in Arusha town on 07:30 with parked lunch box, we prove mineral water as well. It will take 45 minutes to reach the main entry gate.

The principal features of the park are the flood plains, the grasslands and the Tarangire River which provides the only permanent water for wildlife in the area. LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK 1 DAY TRIP

Arrive at TCTP. Center around 9:00am meet our local guide who will be waiting for you on your arrival, the guide will greet and show you the place to seat and relax while our staff saving you local prepared lemon grass and ginger tea with bites, while enjoying the traditional tea you will be briefed about the meru tribe their fascinating story about the past and how is the situation at present compared to the past.

After briefing you will have lecture about the methane gas that we produce from cows dung’s and how we use it for cooking and lighting to save our environment.

Then you will start hiking in our areas through the village this is the chance to interact with local people in the community, where you will share greetings and have some pictures with kids (ask permission before you take photos) at the same time heading into the coffee farm, here expect to learn about the origin of coffee, who discovered coffee, how, who and when coffee was brought to Tanzania then how to plant, harvest and process the coffee.

After learning then you will walk back to our center where you will process coffee dried beans locally and make a cup of coffee until you enjoy a cup of coffee that you made by your own hands.

Then you will have your hot lunch with our local guides after lunch then you will catch up your jeep and drive to Lake Duluti about 3kms from TCTP center, here expect to learn a lot about the legendry of the lake in connection to the meru tribe’s spirituals, while learning about trees, birds, reptiles and more stories about the lake and there also you will experience the people who use the place for their prayers and they believe that using the place God may hear them compared to the other places.

After the hike the local guide will show you a grocery located near the lake and if you wish to have a bottle of water or other drink then this is a good place near the lake,

Half Day Experience Tanzanite’s history, mystery and rarity

Embark upon a journey that stated over 585 million years ago, culminating in the discovery of one of the rarest gemstone in the world. “Tanzanite” Its only found in small village called Mererani in Tanzania.

Displaying incredible blue and violet hues it was first discovered in 1967.the famous New York jewelers “Tiffany & Co” gave it its name declaring it to be the most beautiful blue stone to be discovered in 2000 years.

The tour starts at the hotel in Arusha town, depending with your time, we will pick you form the hotel drive to Simanjiro one hour drive via Mandela university road (it is a raff road), but we will return to Arusha via Kia road (which is paved) to complete the cycle.

Activities:

1. We will pass the small town known as Zaire (but not Kinshasa) where you will be briefed about the town.

2. Visiting mining zone and being informed how Tanzanite has been discovered; descend into the mine for you to know how Tanzanite is being mined. This will take one hour.

3. Taking photo with miner,

4. Drive back to the hotel via JRO road which will take one hour.
